How do I charge my BN0162-02X?

Automatic watches store mechanical energy in a mainspring wound by wrist movement. Citizen Eco-Drive and Seiko Solar watches store electrical energy collected from light in a rechargeable cell. Wearing an automatic helps wind it; exposing a light-powered watch to light helps charge it. They need different care and restart routines.
Does my BN0162-02X need maintenance?
Light charging removes the need for regular disposable-battery changes, but the watch still needs care. The rechargeable cell and movement may need professional service over time. If it does not run after the charging steps in its manual, contact our watch technicians.
