Description
The mechanical 4R36 movement winds with wrist motion and also supports manual winding. A day/date window adds daily convenience, and the see-through caseback lets you view the movement. Allow for its 14.2mm thickness when comparing fit; the lug-to-lug measurement is 46mm.

How is the HDB004 powered?
This is an automatic mechanical watch. Normal wrist movement winds a mainspring that powers the movement; it does not use a battery.
What if my HDB004 stops when I do not wear it?
An automatic can stop when its mainspring runs down while unworn. Restart and set it using the instructions for its caliber. Some automatic movements support crown winding and others do not, so check the manual before winding. Regular wear helps maintain the stored energy.
What is the difference between automatic and Eco-Drive or Solar?
Automatic watches store mechanical energy in a mainspring wound by wrist movement. Citizen Eco-Drive and Seiko Solar watches store electrical energy collected from light in a rechargeable cell.
